Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actress who has starred in multiple television series. VanCamp also has a great record in the world of film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American Television. Emily first became interested when she watched her sister Katie working on a film. As soon as she realized that acting was her interest, she started to learn how to act and auditions. She started out with a few ads and soon was selected for Are You Afraid Of The Dark A Canadian horror film for children. In the show, she appeared only in one scene, without any dialogue. In the WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first major break at the age of 15. Emily's acting attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti, even though the show came to an end with just nine episode. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily is a ballerina and photographer was named by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20.
