Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best recognized for her role as detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first TV role on CBS soap drama Guiding Light. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) is said to be in the works. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
