Felicity Jones is a British actor best recognized for her role as Jane Hawking. She played Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything, the film that received acclaim from critics. Jones has been an actress since she was twelve, has appeared in many TV series and movies. Her first role was in the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Following that she made an appearance in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and in Weirdsisters College. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she starred in), Young Ruth, she continued to act in other movies. She gained popularity for her acting in movies like The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Her performance as the wife in The Theory of Everything was which earned her her first Oscar nomination. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic, based on the author's life, was well-received both by critics and viewers. Inferno was a Tom Hanks thriller was her following part. Jones was awarded the title British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles in recognition of her outstanding talent and contribution to the cinema.
