Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9, 1976, at Beaumont Puy of Domme. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor and teacher in a school helped and encouraged her early love for drama and theater. She initially hoped of becoming a specialist in monkeys was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. It was a quick rise for her to be an internationally renowned young actor. In 1998 after her studies, she took part in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning the journey to become an actor. Although she studied at The Institut Catholique de Paris and went to church as a child, Tautou is now averse to the Catholic tradition, saying that she's not Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modeling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Alongside her acting career she is also interested in photography. The actress recently showed some images in the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. In her photographs, she focuses primarily on celebrity and fame. The camera's focus is on journalists who examined her as she rose to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her debut role as Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie made international waves at the box office and also won numerous awards across the globe. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released in the US. Following this success Tautou starred in a wide range of films including British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Long Sunday de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood with Ron Howard's direction of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
