The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken is one that can last a lifetime, but she can be a role model in this regard. Lockhart admits to having been through phases in her life regarding her appearance, feeling uneasy in some instances to wear outfits that showcased her arms. She is able to wear anything she wants, and she is proud to share photos of herself dressed in her favorite outfits. Self-love, she says, is a process. "I don't think you will ever be there," she said. That's true of everyone regardless of how much they are afraid. The people you surround yourself with, who know you and see inside your soul are the best people to remind you of what you're concerned about.
